LATE 2N DEBUTS ITS FIRST WOMENSWEAR COLLECTION TITLED “FEEL LIKE THIS?
For Autumn/Winter 2018 Season and as a part of Late 2N’s fifth consecutive collection titled “FEEL LIKE THIS?”, Spearheading into a new direction “FEEL LIKE THIS?” provides a showcase to debut Late 2N’s neoteric womenswear pieces. Incorporating past elements of his teenage years into the designer’s collection, Creative Director Shane Fitzpatrick has created an immersive range of garments with a focal point beaming on the manifestation of the 00’s subcultures and nostalgia.
Inclusive of elegant and oversized silhouettes, Late 2N pays its attention to colour blocking, utilising a lucid colour palette, the “EYELESS” statement that finds itself at home across a winter warming purple sweatshirt together with the series of medieval skulls spread across a heavy hood and college varsity t-shirt accompanied with a defiant slogan ‘Another One Gone’ available in a black, white with a blend of red hues.
The collection plays the role of an experimental canvas to debut a reinvented LATE 2N logo. A new emblem graces selected pieces from the collection inspired by the infamous professional wrestling television program – ‘WWE RAW’ and its iconic hallmark. Transcending the norms of a traditional logo, the sharply cut logo paints a theme and palette of the collection and is the first time LATE 2N has reworked the staple monogram, introducing an extension of its identity.
