[STYLE] INSIDE THE NEW MAINS POP-UP IN LONDON’S SOHO

This weekend saw the perfect landing of Skepta‘s designer label ‘MAINS‘ take to the historical streets of Soho, London to become hosts to an exclusive Pop-Up store for a welcoming second time.

Lead by masterminds Skepta & Ella Dror, #MAINS ruled over the Bateman Street space making their presence very known with an attractive window display and a full class in head to toe MAINS uniform. When walking into the space, you’re greeted with an LED light wall fixed into place and made to feel as though you stepped into the matrix with a mannequin flexing the latest MAINS drip. The ambiance was set right and with familiar faces working the pop-up including Skepta himself, futuristic fashion designer Randa Khurba ,Artist Fire London and the members of the creative force that makes up BBK – you were in very good company.

The fashions consisted of a smart, uninterrupted trend of sleek black tracksuits, fleece and nylon half-zip pullovers, Two-toned sweats with a complimentary colour switch up on the hoods, a line of graphic tees featuring a new ‘MAINS’ trademark. To finish, the FW18 capsule counted for accessories including a contemporary aluminum tone bag and the same on a branded duffel available in a black on black too. When speaking to Selfridges Skepta mentioned “I liked my dad’s style. It wasn’t about what it was, he just used to make it work. He always taught me that the clothes don’t make the man, the man makes the clothes”

The 2nd drop is officially releasing exclusively on MAINS website on tomorrow. Take a look at the pop-up here if you missed it, seen and captured by Elliot Huntley.
