[FILM] REMASTERED: WHO SHOT THE SHERIFF

If you’re looking for a good documentary to watch this weekend, check out ReMastered: Who Shot the Sheriff on Netflix. It’s about the attempted assassination of Bob Marley and the political fallout that followed.

So interesting if you’re a fan of Jamaican music and culture, even if you’re not into politics. If you’ve ever heard of the Shower Posse or Jim Brown, it’s interesting to hear his involvement in Marley’s shooting.

It’s only an hour long so if you’re keen to delve deeper into this time period, I highly recommend a book called A Brief History of Seven Killings. Apparently there are plans to make a film of it too, which I can’t wait to watch! Though mostly fictional, the book is based on real events surrounding the shooting at 56 Hope Road. It even touches on the Godmother of Cocaine, Griselda Blanco.

Watch on Netflix.
