THE ITALIAN LABEL TAKES YOU TO ANCIENT ROME FOR THIER NEWLY DELIVERED AW18 CAPSULE
Sergio Tacchini, having glowed up from its remarkable sportswear beginnings seen on the back of the infamous tennis player himself alongside John McEnroe & Novak Djokovic, to later gracing the fashion industry with their youthful approach backed by their timeless athletic silhouettes, the Italian brand drops a conceptual capsule that references the obscure “Venetian Terrazzo”. A floor tile made from marble chip and coloured stones as seen in Ancient Greece & Imperial Rome.
The unisex collection shows the idiosyncratic pattern is embedded elegantly amongst all of its pieces, consisting of a cotton polo shirt in a multicolour microprint, two activewear tracksuits and a pair of trousers, played out in a desirable techno fabric. Sergio Tacchini’s design approach also looks back to one of the brand’s lines from the nineties, bringing back geometries and primary colour blocked diagonal cuts.
Available in a striking red, blue and white, plus royal with hints of neon yellow. See the remainder of your Summer on a brighter tip, the Sergio Tacchini “Terrazzo” capsule will be available from this month from selected stockists Europe wide.
