[STYLE] ASTRID ANDERSEN WOMENSWEAR SPRING/SUMMER 2018

  • London based brand Astrid Andersen makes it’s second appearance during Copenhagen Fashion Week, returning with the Spring/Summer 2018 womenswear collection. Known for creating luxury casual-wear inspired by sportswear, the designer extends her search of finding more contemporary understandings for culture with the latest sports-luxury aesthetic. This season Astrid Andersen’s collection transforms something ordinary into something new which rules a modern generation in womenswear with a Safari theme, recognising an unfamiliar space for the brand’s aesthetics. A sense of calmness flows through the collection this season as the designer uses a colour palette of aquas and dusty verdurous greens on loose natural cottons blended with seam sealed finishes on well-made woven materials and printed floral silk.
