Napapijri presents a contemporary rework of Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons
Napapijri, the brand best known for the iconic Rainforest jacket, celebrates their 30th anniversary with a directional musical showcase that blurs the lines between the classical and the contemporary.
Napapijri’s 4 Seasons campaign is a bold and forward-thinking reinterpretation of Antonio Vivaldi’s timeless classic, “The Four Seasons”. Vivaldi’s concertos have been reimagined by four contemporary artists who will perform their tracks live at the world premiere during Bread & Butter, Berlin on Saturday the 2nd September 2017.
Each artist who has given their talents to the 4 Seasons campaign have taken ownership of one of the Four Seasons concertos – reworking each piece of music in their own distinctive style.
London based singer, Raleigh Ritchie overlays his orchestral R&B style over Summer, LA’s TOKiMONSTA injects her beat-driven lyrical signature into Spring, Sharon Doorson captures Autumn’s ambience with her powerful vocals and Berlin’s own Jan Blomqvist spins his distinctive electronic sound to Winter.
In addition to the premiere, an immersive 4 Season’s installation will run throughout the duration of Bread & Butter from the 1st to the 3rd of September. Guests will be immersed in a multisensorial journey as they hear, feel, see, smell and taste seasonal elements in one space.
Within the space, an innovative interactive platform allows visitors to capture and share their experience through the creation of a customised video overlaid by the track of their favourite Napapijri 4 Season artist.
To further celebrate the brands 30th anniversary, Napapijri has designed three limited editions pieces, each featuring a distinctive digital print that will be exclusively available on Zalando.com.
