THE UK DRILL GROUP WILL PREVIEW ‘THE GLORIOUS TWELFTH’ AT RED BULL’S LONDON HQ ON WEDNESDAY 12TH JULY AHEAD OF GENERAL RELEASE
+ BALLOT NOW OPEN FOR FANS TO APPLY FOR TICKETS +
Today, Red Bull Studios announce plans for the EP preview of Brixton’s infamous rap group 67 on Wednesday 12th July. Along with an exclusive playback of the new self-release ‘The Glorious Twelfth’ two days before it goes on sale next Friday 14th July, the evening will also feature a Q&A hosted by i-D’s Hattie Collins and a performance from 67themselves.
The highly anticipated 10-track release boasts beats produced by Carns Hill and Splurge Boys amongst others. A step on from the underground staple ‘Lets Lurk’, ‘The Glorious Twelfth’ shows the group’s growth as they artfully and confidently navigate us through their world.
A partnership, which most recently included a track and video for the Red Bull Studios xPlaces + Faces collaboration, 67 will also be premiering the music video for their title track “The Glorious Twelfth” at the Studios on the night of the listening event.
Since bursting onto the scene in 2015 the 6-piece rap group have received much-deserved acclaim. Last year they were nominated for ‘Best Newcomer’ at the MOBOS and in 2017 alone they’ve played over 11 festivals in the UK and beyond, including Glastonbury and M.I.A’s Meltdown. With several collaborations under way with the likes of Nadia Rose and UK rap veteran Chipmunk, 67 show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
