[NEWS] A ROUNDUP OF THE FESTIVALS YOU NEED TO ATTEND THIS SUMMER

  • This summer promises to be a madness for festivals both in the UK and abroad. From London to Pula via Amsterdam, some of the biggest names in music will be shutting it down in grand fashion. Here is a selection of some of the festivals you should think about going to.

    Field Day: June 3

    This one day festival in London promises to be legendary, with performances from Flying Lotus, ABRA, Lady Leshurr, Loyle Carner, Run The Jewels, Clams Casino and much more.

    El Dorado: June 30 – July 3

    Returning for its second year, El Dorado will see over 90 acts perform across 7 stages, with Groove Armada, AJ Tracey, Goldfish, Zak Abel, SG Lewis, Jax Jones, The Sugarhill Gang, The Hot 8 Brass Band, Bondax, My Nu Leng, Artwork, Redlight, Dusky, TQD, Gentleman’s Dub Club and more performing across the weekend.

    Wireless: July 7-9

    Wireless’s line-up is stacked. The three day festival, taking place London’s Finsbury Park, will see an illustrious roster of acts hit the famous stage. Chance The Rapper, Skepta, Rae Sremmurd, Nas, The Weeknd, Travi$ Scott, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, Wiley, Section Boyz, Dave and a host of others are going to make you have a weekend to remember.

    Lovebox: July 14-15

    Emanating from East London, this year’s Lovebox may be the best one yet. Friday’s line up is stacked with sets from Frank ocean, Solange, Jamie xx, Mac Miller, Ray BLK, Kaytranada and Mick Jenkins, among others. Saturday sees the likes of Kano, Raye, Chase & Status and DJ EZ hit the stage.

    Applesap: August 12

    Holland’s hottest hip-hop party APPELSAP Fresh Music Festival have announce the next heavy set of names for August 12th 2017, with Young M.A, J Hus, Amy Becker, Lunice, 070 Shake and more joining big dons  Lil Wayne, Dave, 67, Vic Crezée, Siobhan Bell and more across the Appelsap day in Amsterdam. Four freshly curated stages from Boiler Room, Noisey and leading Dutch DIY Radio, Red Light Radio have also been announced.

    Outlook: September 7-11

    This year Outlook, Croatia’s finest festival, marks 10 years in the game with family old and new, bringing together the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Dawn Penn, Swing Ting, Giggs, The Bug, Calibre, Goldie, LEVELZ, AJ Tracey, Wiley and Madam X for this special edition, plus over 100 selectors, live acts, MCs and crews already announced to play in Outlook’s abandoned fortress home.
