As strong as the music scene is in the UK, the film scene is equally as strong, often giving light to very dark, gritty and very real tales of urban life on the UK’s streets. Now, from the brilliant mind that brought you Kidulthood, Adulthood and Anuvahood , Femi Oyeniran, The Intent is set to hit theatres on 29th July.

The Intent tells the story of an undercover police officer assigned by Metropolitan Police unit, Trident, to bring a notorious gang of robbers and drug traffickers to justice. All while starring some of the UK’s finest rappers such as Scorcher, Krept and Konan, and Fekky. In addition to the crime thriller’s impending drop, its soundtrack is set to hit stores in conjunction with the film and contains an all-star cast in Ghetts, Rudekid, Ms. Banks, Big Tobz, Ruff Sqwad, Cadet and many more.

With such a stellar group in both the film and its soundtrack, it will be difficult not to keep your eyes peeled for the motion picture. So mark 29th July in your diary!
