Introducing the new Spring 2016 Collection from Crap Eyewear.
‘This season we welcome a strong assortment of new frame shapes to our range, all designed and tested beachside in Los Angeles. Our aesthetic pairs reverence and respect for the classics with a modern sensibility geared for everyday wear by our California friends; skaters, models, rockers, surfers, geeks, stoners and all the homies in between.
As always, we continue to draw inspiration from decades of beach and rock & roll culture. Our spring palette is planted in the 70s, featuring two-tone color combos and subtle pastels, and each new frame takes on its own unique story. The Pop Control is part Vietnam G.I., part Warhol Factory-era New York, and The Wild Gift is our ode to early 80s L.A. punk. Also, our staple Nudie Mag family grows with the addition of a modernized clubmaster silhouette, The Nudie Club.
We’re also excited to break out the lab coats and incorporate new lens technologies into this season’s collection. The Tuff Safari brings a fashion forward edge to our popular Tuff Patrol round-wire frame with the addition of “Zero Base” (completely flat) lenses, a custom brow-bar and outer-rivet detailing. The new mirror lenses used in our Rose Gold collection are rich as a glass of rosé because they come directly from a luxury manufacturer in France and, finally, the popular Crap Eyewear Polarized range is rounded out with even more beach-ready colorways.
Along with the new product, we celebrate new additions to the Crap Family with LA’s most exciting young punks, Cherry Glazerr, and garage-folk belle, Pearl Charles. We also make things official with photographers Olivia Jaffe, Daria Ritch and Andrea Sonnenberg (aka Teen Witch).
It’s 2016 and we’ve just released our most exciting collection yet. See y’all at the beach!
