With Raf Simons latest 2016 Fall/Winter collection showing at Paris Fashion Week, the designer chose to explore specific parts of his youth. Inspired by various experiences growing up, the overwhelming theme here is an exploration of boyhood.
The collection has a sense of fifties-style Americana and the grungy distressed aesthetic, taking informal wear in a different direction from the clean cuts we’ve seen elsewhere lately.
