For every 10 male-focused street wear brands, there’s only one good label for females. And even the best men’s lines fail to successfully adapt their clothing to suit a curvaceous woman. And so we are thankful for Dimepiece LA. When Laura-Marie Fama and Ashley Jones created the label back in 2007, they created relatable, super-wearable clothes appealing to internationally-spirited girls.
Based in LA, the brand appeals to those that are Cali girls at heart regardless of their location. The culmination of two chic, forward-thinking minds, Dimepiece’s fresh approach to contemporary street wear took the brand’s appeal global this year, even making themselves at home in London superstore, Selfridges. After six years of dressing badass femmes with resonating slogans such as the unforgettable ‘TrEAT Your Girl Right’ and ‘Pharrell is my baby daddy,’ Dimepiece’s tongue-in-cheek messages and feminine cuts stand out.
